A Morning With Papa
My goodness! It's been over a month since I posted. Grani and Papa have been crazy busy on the weekends and there were two or three weeks that we were never home in the evenings either, so no time for posting.
This morning Papa and Benjamin got to spend the morning together! "Where was everyone else?", you may ask. Mommy is in Georgia at a women's conference. Daddy is out with the guys playing paintball. Hannah and Grani (Gimmi as Hannah calls her) were in bed asleep. We had a looong night together. Hannah woke up about 2, then Benjamin woke up and, long story short, the only way we were able to sleep at all - although Hannah was up for about three hours - was for everyone to pile into Grani and Papa's bed. Hannah finally fell asleep on top of Grani (ending up only staying asleep if she was in the crook of Grani's arm) and Benjamin slept under (almost under) Papa.
So when Benjamin woke up this morning he and Papa spent the morning together while Grani and Hannah slept. After a bottle and a diaper change we were ready for a fun morning.
Papa makes a good jungle gym.

Benjamin is the fifth grandbaby to have fun with the ball tower.
After a fun morning of playing together the boys fall asleep about 10:30.

Adoption Day!
What a great day. I wish everyone could hear and see what happens in court for an adoption. There are some wonderful spiritual parallels. They say things like "your heir as if he was born naturally to you."
We had a whole bunch of Littletons and Davises there to celebrate with Christy, Daniel, Hannah and Benjamin. (Grani is behind Hannah's hair!)
Here is Banjamin Jaylin Davis and family with the judge.

Something new on Bear Hollow
I suppose it's not really new, but it's the first time I've seen one.
Can you tell what it is. This is a view of the side of Papa and Grani's house.
Here's a closer picture.
I bought a new camera to take to Wales. It doesn't seem to do close up in focus.
Can you tell that this is a tiny little frog?

Art for Adoption
Papa has a new painting. I just painted it this weekend. I painted it in honor of Benjamin and I have it for sale on Ebay. I put it there to sell it to help pay for his adoption. By the way, Adoption Day is October 2! I'm so excited!

Everyone needs to go to Ebay and check it out and put it on your watched items list so there will be a lot of interest in it. I suppose you could even bid on it if you want it.
The frame isn't included on the Ebay listing - just the matt.

A Fun Evening Out
Grani and Papa and Hannah
got to go to a LIFE group (Sunday School) party. It was out in the country. We got to play in the creek and pet some goats and chase some chickens and ducks. We took mommy's camera. There were four batteries in the diaper bag - rechargables. They lasted for about four pictures. Christy has those pictures. I'll get them from her and add them here. The family who had the party took these pictures.

Grani said, "We get to keep Jose this weekend."
"Woohoo", I said. I lied. It's not that I don't like Jose. I love Jose. She is so sweet. Baylee however hates Jose. Baylee is old a grumpy. Jose is young and perky and happy. Baylee is Eeyore. Jose is Tigger on caffiene. Jose comes bounding into the house and the first thing she does is jump on Baylee. He then growls and barks and climbs up the the highest point on the sofa. That used to be enough, but Jose is now bigger than Baylee and she cna climb just as high. And so the battle of the Century ensues with everyone barking and growling and running around and jumping and it can go on for hours.
"We'll get to see Hannah and Benjamin and you can take their picture since you found your camera."
"OK." I grumbled. At least I could get a couple of pics and some good hugs.
We drove across Old Hickory to Hannah and Benjamin's house. It's only about 20 minutes over there. But when we pulled up in front of their house this is what we saw.

What is this? An empty driveway. What does that mean? It means Christy isn't home which means I won't get to see Hannah and Benjamin.
"Oh!" grins Grani, "I guess Christy has already driven over to the Davis' house."
"Hmph." "Where are the babies?"
"Well, I suppose they are with Christy."
"I guess you knew they weren't going to be here."
"I wasn't sure, but we have to pick up Jose anyway."
"I brought my camera!"
"Jose is here!"
"Hmph."
Here's a picture of Jose "tiggering" at the gate. She was very excited to see us.

And I guess I have to admit, I was glad to see Jose. She really is a sweet dog. And a whole lot more fun than our old grump, Baylee.

Maybe we'll see the grandbabies when Jose goes home.

Good News and Bad News
The good news is I found my camera!
The bad news is that there aren't any grandbabies around to take a picture of. We'll see Hannah and Benjamin tomorrow!
More good news - bad news.
The good news. We finally got some rain!!
The bad news. It was less than an inch and it was the most rain we've had since May 4!
Here is a picture of my elephant ears last summer.

Things I wish I had a picture of...
Elam's first birthday party.
Haven's new room.
Gibson's first day of school.
Hannah talking on the phone to Papa.
Benjamin crawling.
You can see some of these things at their parent's blogs. You won't see them here unless I snag them off of their parents blogs because I don't have a camera!

I CAN'T FIND MY CAMERA!!!
I've looked everywhere! So it's just not any fun to blog without pictures. We've had Elam's first birthday party at Aunt DiDi's house and Hannah and Benjamin spent the night last Friday and lots of other fun stuff and I DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES!!
I guess I need to go buy a new camera.

A Realllly Big Day!
Then we went to Chuck-E-Cheese's. While we were there the power went off - and not just for Chuck's place. That entire area of town was out. So we sat there for awhile in the dark and then decided to leave. Then before we even got to the light at Toys R Us the lights started working, so we went back to Chuck's and our drinks (and Papa's salad) were still on our table and the lady said our pizza was on the way. We ended up staying until just a few minutes before 9:00. What a long day - but loads of fun!

Cousin's Camp - a Trip to the Zoo
Cousin's Camp continued today with a trip to the zoo! We saw the elephants and giraffes and got to ride in a Safari Car!
Grani, Papa, Aunt Christy, Aunt Ashley, Gibson, Haven, Hannah and Benjamin were today's Cousin Camp campers.

Going to the zoo is very tiring. gibson played a computer game when we got home. I"m not sure how the game ended...
Somehow we didn't get a good picture of Benjamin at the zoo, so here he is at home. What a smile!
