All for One and One for All!

We had a hands picture earlier. We had to do another one since there is one more now. Can you tell who each hand belongs to? Posted by Picasa

Grani says the sixteen picture collage has pictures that are too small so here is one with only 9. Don't forget to leave a comment telling Papa how beautiful the new grandbaby is!  Posted by Picasa
This Picasa program from Google is a great way to make these collages. It has a place on it to publish to a blog and obviously it is working! Unfortunately I can only publish one picture at a time, so this may be it for tonight. It's time to put the big kids to bed. We've been on a late schedule all week. They fall asleep about 11:30 or 12 each night then sleep until 8 or 9 and if we are lucky even later.
You may notice that on the second row down and the third picture across that Elam has a dog dancing on his head. I guess the third child always survives! Posted by Picasa
I found a way to get a picture on the blog. I may have to have a separate blog for each picture. Posted by Picasa
Elam Is Here!

I don't know the exact time, but it was a little after 1:30. He weighed 8lbs 13oz and was 21 inches long. Another day or two in the oven and he oculd have been a 9 pounder!

I'll post a series of pictures later that show what a fun day we had, but for now, here are some pictures of Elam James Littleton. More pictures can be found at his momma's blog and his Aunt Christy's blog. You'll find those links at the bottom of the page.

For some reason the pictures won't post, so I'll add them tonight.

The Slumber Party Continues

How many can you get in one bed? I don't think we've hit our limit yet. Thankfully you can move some of us to the floor after they fall asleep.

Hands and Feet

I love these pictures. We'll have a new set of hands and feet tomorrow! Mommy Haley has gone to the hospital and they'll make sure things happen tomorrow! We'll post pictures of Elam as soon as we can.

In the mean time, you can look at these pictures and see if you can tell whose hands and whose feet are whose.
Oklahoma in August

The trees are a hot, tired green.
The roads are soft as the asphalt tries to turn back to liquid.
The lawns want to be green, but only in places where the sprinklers reach.
We wait until evening to swim when the temperature cools off to 101 at 7:30 pm.

But we're having a great time together as we await Elam's arrival. Here are some of the things we've been doing.

Slumber Party!

Here are some pictures of our slumber party. This is the view of the room from Grani and Papa's bed. (Note to self - chocolate-chip cookies and chocolate milk just before bedtime may be a bad idea.) It's 11:12 and Grani and Papa seem to be the only ones in the room that are sleepy.
Did I mention that it is HOT?!

We went to the mall today to walk. ON the way home the temperature at 4:30 was 108 on the car thermometer. at 7:30 it was still 103. at 9:30 it had cooled off to 101.

We went simming again after our trip to the mall. Now Papa and Grani and Gibson and Haven are at grandma and grandpa's house to spend the night so mom can get a good night's sleep.

HOT!
People in Tennessee talk about how hot it is, but they don't really know hot. Oklahoma knows hot! The weather man says something like 103 or 104 or 108 and that it feels like 130 or 140, but I think it's hotter than that.

So... it's out to the pool!

It's hard work swimming and very tiring and sometimes you fall asleep right in the pool!

Here's video of Boomer teaching the kids how to dogpaddle.

We'll swim again today!

P.S. No baby yet.

Traveling to Oklahoma!

It's time for Elam to arrive so he headed off to Oklahoma. Grani, Papa, Aunt Christy and Hannah left Mt. Juliet at 5:00 on Friday morning and arrived in Tulsa at 4:45. Hannah was wonderful the entire trip. She couldn't have been a better traveler. You may notice that it takes a bunch of stuff for a 5 month old to travel.

P.S. No baby yet.
