Late May in Papa's Yard

Oh my! Roses and iris and peonies and a jack-in-the-pulpit I moved off the hill to a shade garden a couple of years ago. It just doesn't get much more beautiful than this! The giant rose bush in the front will be covered with tiny pink roses in just a few days!

Notice how huge the white peonie is! Oh, and we call them pee-OWE-nees here in the South, not PEE-uh-nees.
